In through the nose

 

Out through the mouth

 

Stretching beyond my comfort zones

 

Settling into a new normal

 

 

For a moment I forget

 

I hold my breath

 

The tension rises

 

My mood dips

 

 

Another deep breath

 

Releases the anxiety

 

Opens my mind

 

Expands my heart

 

 

If it is something new

 

Something scary

 

Something unsettling

 

Or just a shitty day

 

 

Breathe through it

 

Find your bearings

 

Ground in your body

 

Be fully awake to the experience

 

And arrive on the other side

 

Full of life
